'ECCE HOMO' LIMITED EDITION FINE ART SILVER GELATIN PRINT
Available as a toned fine art silver gelatin print on double-weight warm tone fibre paper. The print is signed and numbered by the artist at the bottom right-hand corner of the print just below the image area, using pencil. It is also titled and signed again on the back of the print with the artist's full name, the year of completion and copyright details, again in pencil. The image comprises elements photographed in Cambodia, Thailand, USA and Europe and was first published in Black and White Magazine #45 in September 2006 and again in Phot'Art International #7 in September 2007. See the BW Magazine article here. See the Phot'Art article here. The background is a stairwell in 'Office S-21', Pol Pot's principal interrogation centre in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The head of the figure is a blend of the face of an elderly man and two skulls found in The Killing Fields of Cambodia. The 'audio' link opens an mp3 file which is the artist's explanation of this piece. For more edition and pricing information please follow the 'editions' link.
